The money markets are wholesale financial markets in which governments, sovereign states, financial institutions and major corporations trade short-term debt securities, typically from overnight to one year.
This course is designed to you step-by-step through the fundamentals of the wide range of securities that exist in today’s global money. We will cover the main players, characteristics, pricing and trading and risks of money markets deposits, Treasury Bills, Certificates of Deposit, Bills of Exchange, Commercial Paper and other related instruments such as Repurchase Agreement (REPO and Reverse REPO). Each type of security is presented from the perspective of front, middle and back office.
Candidates can choose to enrol on any of the available class formats - Daytime Release, Weekend or Evening Series.
